Jannet Van Essen - November 2012
We visited il Cielo Bio from 20 till the 29 th of September 2012 and we had a nice time. What a beautiful place, back to nature. We visited our friend in Panzano several times and we met some friends from Holland for lunch in Volpaia, a special place to go. Of course for one day we visited Florence again and visited small shops and visited again the Profumo Farmaceutica " Santa Maria Novelle " at the Via della Scala. What a beautiful place. Our house in Holland is kwow flavoured by there spices.
We made some walks in the environment and in the evening we saw some deer and later on a wild boar. On Sunday we visited the ceramic market in Greve and bought some nice ceramic things and some warm felt home shoes, very special. I got a Shiatsu treatment from Micele and I felt great all day and off course later on. I very special place to be and we also enjoyed the breakfast with yoghurt and other home made specials from Michele. A place to be in the middle of Tuscany by a warm and hospitable family.

Dominique Grob - Octobre 2012

Padraic Mulholand - September 2012
My wife and myself stayed at ''Il Cielo Bio' for five nights in July 2012 and it was definitely the highlight of a wonderful two weeks in Italy.
Michele and her family have created a wonderful space for guests to relax and enjoy themselves in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
The location is perfect if you want to potter around the very pretty towns in Chianti. Apart from Greve itself, Montefioralle is not to be missed and I also particularly enjoyed Castelina in Chianti. And I have to mention La Cantina pizzeria in Greve - the tastiest calzone I have ever had! And if you want to visit Florence the bus service is good and hassle free.
But to be honest, the perfect day for me was to enjoy the lovely breakfast provided by Michele (including home made yogurt and jams along with fruit from the garden) and then spend the rest of the day reading in the garden, going for walks and listening to the beautiful sounds all around. At some point we would make a quick trip into the supermarket for some supplies for dinner which we would then eat outside in the garden and linger over with a glass of wine.
The sense of total relaxation which we experienced was created by Michele's generosity, warmth and sensitivity and you will feel absolutely welcome for every minute of your stay. If I am lucky enough to return to Tuscany I would not even consider staying anywhere else. If you haven't stayed there before, you are in for a treat!
Both of us had a shiatsu treatment from Michele which I would highly recommend as it added to our overall sense of wellbeing. Thanks Michelle!

Pier - Agosto 2012

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful location. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and see in the area. We were made to feel very much at home, and fed a great breakfast including fruit from the trees in the yard. We would stay here again if we had the chance.
